Term limits for Congress would go a long way to correcting the idea that
Congress can do anything it wants. Repealing the 17th Amendment is another
good idea. Senators are supposed to represent the STATE not the people, so
it is rediculous to have the people elect them outright. It was the
progressives under Wilson who came up with the 17th. They knew it would
lead to more federal control and a larger central government.
