Hello Jasen,
I've been using SETDOS /Y1 on your version of the batch file we've been
discussing and (unless I've missed something) I believe that something is
amiss...
Using the following data file:
=== *** ===
PATH\PROGRAM TO RUN ³AFTER³ ³ ³DAYS ³
³ DAYS³LAST RUN³NEXT RUN³ LEFT³ASK
ÄÄÄÄ 61 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÅÄÄÄÄÄÅDD-MM-YYÅDD-MM-YYÅÄÄÄÄÄÅÄÄÄ
call STEP_0.BTM ³1 ³30-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
call STEP_1.BTM ³1 ³30-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
call STEP_2.BTM ³14 ³19-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
call STEP_3.BTM ³28 ³26-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
call STEP_4.BTM ³7 ³26-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
call STEP_5.BTM ³2 ³30-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
call STEP_6.BTM ³3 ³30-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
call STEP_7.BTM ³4 ³30-10-02³00-00-00³0 ³N
=== *** ===
(I've already changed the date format for you).
For some reason that I haven't been able to discover, STEP_3.BTM is NOT
being written to the data file.
Then, on the following day (next run), only STEP_0.BTM and STEP_1.BTM are
written to the data file */AND/* all the other STEP_?.BTM files are dropped
from the data file. Very perplexing...
Could I request that you UUencode the batch file in your next post in case
something was truncated in your last posting? Is it possible that the IFF,
ELSEIFF and ENDIFFs are not matched?
Thanks ... Gerald
