Worst case, it is copying to disk. Normally the bufffer is passed in memory
and never gest written to disk.

No use read with 'wait til the data is there' - then the task will release the
processor til the data is ready - possibly to the server task if its on the 
same machine.

Actually, learning SQL is pretty trivial. The real problem is that 
to use SQL you have to use some database's extensions cos of what 
the SQL can't do. Like using #pragma() in C.
