1.  Obama delivers a listless speech during his State of the Union Address
and Congress laughs at him twice - once when he mentions the "irrefutable"
science behind global warming and again when he talked of all the problems
that existed when he walked in the door.  If Obama didn't want to deal with
the problems this country faces, why did he run for office?

2.  During the speech, Obama directly confronts the Supreme Court in a forum
where they have no ability to respond - sort of like the pin-headed little
coward Otto posting my words in the DUmp.  In confronting the Court, Obama
tells two lies.  The legislation they vacated is not 100 years old; GWB
signed McCain-Feingold into law in 2002.  Secondly, foreign contributions to
American campaigns is controlled by law in effect since 1996.  A stunned
Samuel Alito, says, "that's not true," and of course the clown posse that
passes for American liberalism these days attacks Alito in much the same way
they attacked Matt Drudge for telling us about the blue dress.

3.  Locally, John Wilson gushes over the "great" speech and
declares that he
loves Obama.  Tom Shales does the same thing in the Washington Post - the
rotund TV critic was a bit more articulate than Wilson, but the treacly
sentiment is identical.  Chris Matthews said the speech was so good that he
forgot that Obama is black.  There is nothing I can add to that.  Otto stuns
all of Fido with his learned reaction to the speech, "zzzzzzz."

4.  Sen. Judd Gregg goes on MSNBC to face a pair of news babes and talk
about getting the federal budget under control.  The idiot Contessa Brewer
asks the incredulous senator if he plans to tell schools they get no money
after which Gregg rightly condemns the remark as dishonest and duplicitous.
Brewer is not intelligent or sophisticated enough to understand that you can
build a strawman in the form of a question.

5.  John Edwards and Rielle Hunter made a sex tape.
