While looking for PING flags, I could not help noticing this:

IBN:ipv4.endofthelinebbs.com:24554

It made me wonder, why the IPv4? IIRC it used to be just endofthelinebbs.com and that had an IPv4 and an IPv6 address. Some more research revealed that endofthelinebbs.com still makes an IPv6 connect with your system. So you have IPv6 connectivity, but you hide it from the the nodelist.


I wonder why....
