| subject: | Debugging DOS programs i |
LS> I program C and C++ for DOS. When a program logic bug, or some LS> complexe algorithm is required, I use Codeview (CV.EXE) in a DOS box LS> to debug same. LS> CV works perfectly for me with WARP3.0. It locks up with WARP4.0. Well, I can sympathize. I used to be able to use CV in OS/2 2.1, but for some reason, after upgrading from 486/33 to 486/66 and going from 8meg to 20meg RAM, it hangs the entire system after loading in a VDM. When in native-DOS, trying to run CV a second time I get a memory error, insufficient EMS or XMS, I believe. ___ X OLX 1.53 X OS/2 is a bowl of cherries.
