Seems I read something about restrictions as to what states
allow them? 

Same situation with the Ocelots. I'v heard they are legal again
but never checked on this. Ocelots are small panthers and just
'look' like a large cat. They make panther sounds and have paws
the size of my palms with claws to match. Unfortunately they
kill dogs for sport and aren't fond of children either.
