To quote a possible ancestor of yours Davey, "Methinks thou dost protest 
too much."
In short, it would be nice if you bothered to get the proper spelling of 
the wonderful phrases that you just used above. 
And by the way, you seem to have a lack of understanding of the law. But 
why should that surprise anyone? After all, it's always symbolism over 
substance with "y'all", isn't it?
Just for the record, there are two classes of folks here in these here 
United StatesdDavey. A. Citizens / nationals, and B. Aliens. That's the 
LAW,Davey. Not wishful thinking. 
What makes someone American can either be described as "mere birth" in 
the United States which confers upon that person American citizenship,
or Naturalization which is when someone who is NOT a citizen LEGALLY 
emigrates to this country and then, get this for this is a really novel
concept, FORESAKES all other allegiances and swears allegiance to the 
United States. 
OR, being an American, IMHO, is a state of mind and not an event that 
results in some conferring of rights. It's a way of life, a philosophical
idea that personal freedom is paramount as is the rule of law. You see
Davey, we don't cotton well to special folk here. We don't have royalty
in this country, despite those who believe they are "special" or "royal".
The only "royal" those people are, is a royal pain in the posterior.
Everyone should be treated the same, another novel approach. From the 
lowest person in society right up there to El Presidente himself. 
Perhaps the reason why, in YOUR opinion, the poor are the only ones who 
need to learn another language, is because "Los Ricos" (Spanish lingo there 
for "The Rich) are educated and bothered to LEARN English since they figure
they'd be doing business here? Yet another novel approach I'm sure. 
(Shaking head) Davey, wake up and smell the coffee, lad. For someone to 
succeed in this country, they HAVE to learn English. Otherwise, they'll
be doomed to the kinds of menial jobs aliens are stereotyped in. 
Let me put it another way. If you were to go to another country to live and 
work, let'ssay Germany, and refused to learn German, would you think the 
Germans would be a little bit offended that you didn't bother to learn 
THEIR language since you were in THEIR country LIVING there?
Or are you so narrow minded and arrogant to think that the entire world
revolves around the United States?
