     I just found my sample of Brenda's block and my memory was a little
     bit wrong   :(    The first square is a color then add the black.
     You will have 7 colored and 6 black logs on this block.
     I did mine like a rainbow using Red, orange, yellow, green, blue,
     indigo and violet logs on one side with the black logs on the other.
     Hope this helps you.  The block measures 7 1/2 " unfinished.
     If you get the blocks made up let me know so I can include you
     in the draw this month.
     
 I got some blocks in July but

 I don't really have a sewing room either, I just sew on the kitchen
 table when I can.  My sewing area is in the basement and it's been too
 chilly down there to sew.  During the hot summer, it's nice down there. :)

 I haven't gotten into a lot of crafts but I have done various things
 with the kids in our 4-H Craft Club.  We've done rubber stamping, 
 stencilling on wood, ceramics, glass etching, chocolate making, T-shirt
 painting, decoupage, just to mention some.  I also sew a lot for my own
 kids and can't find too much extra time for other crafts.  As the kids get 
 older I will be doing more.  My oldest is 9, the youngest is 1 and 2 more
 between.  The 2 older ones do enjoy crafty things when we do them.
 Well gotta clean up after my daughter's birthday party.  She's now 6!
