AM> How do you figure this? It's highly unlikely...

Well recent changes are plugging the printer in (which has caused me
problems with my old computer), turning the computer upside down so that I
could plug in the backpanel which had hitherto been sitting next to my
bookshelf, and plugging in a null modem cable into COM3 to connect to my
Amiga.

I suppose the power cable on the HD could have come loose.

The first thing that happened yesterday was that the system was frozen, so
I had to reset. From memory, it booted up, did a chkdsk no problem, and
then froze shortly afterwards. The next time I reset, the machine couldn't
find the disk or something, and then another time it said it couldn't find
country.sys in the middle of the OS/2 boot (obviously the disk disappeared
halfway through). It's a bit of a nightmare really. I'm thinking I should
move the BBS stuff to my C drive, and run a point system off my E drive for
me. BFN.
