A change and an addition (at least I didn't see the book listed in your list)

 JdBP> ( no summary available )

Excellent book for beginners. Not recommended for those who have
already learned how to program in other languages, but it will do the trick
(in a lot fewer than 21 days!).

Very much OS/2 specific, although they do mention which parts are
OS/2 specific - can be useful for learning general REXX, too.

Designing High-Powered OS/2 Warp Applications: The Anatomy of Multithreaded Programs
========================================
David E. Reich
John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
1995
ISBN 0-471-11586-X

Not exactly what I was looking for - it glossed over the entire development
procedure without getting into details about anything. In its attempt to
be language independant, it seems to not say much of anything.

Its main strengths is as an overview for design, and little caveats about
OS/2 (all platforms - single or multi-processor, Intel or PowerPC, and any
future platforms IBM decides to support) that may not dawn on those of us
not asintricately involved in the design of the operating system itself as
David is. Little about the nitty-gritty details.
