I like the Dave Ramsey approach. Let someone else take the 30%
depreciation hit, and buy a 1-2 year old low mileage car. Most cars now
have the warranty extend to subsequent buyers. Why buy something that goes
down 20-30% the instant you make that right turn off the lot.
I'm still driving my 1994 Mazda Miata, 110k on it. Runs like a champ.
