Anyone know if installing a CMOS battery backwards
will damage the CMOS?
I installed a new battery and it STOPPED the clock
despite putting it in as indicated.
I'm thinking of reversing it from what the holder is marked
as I don't ubderstabd this.
Clock holds fine when the machine is on with no battery.
Anyone got any EDO RAM sticks available at a resonable price?
One of my 8 meg sticks went bad so I'm stuck with
only 16 meg not having yet checked to see if it'll
use an odd number, 3, sticks for 24 meg RAM.
