Because of the Monarchy? Probably not. Because of the _trappings_ of the
Monarchy (palaces, beefeaters, etc...)... quite likely.

Hawaii no longer has a monarchy, but Iolani Palace is now a wonderful and
beautiful tourist attraction/historical site.
