I am sorry if my message will appear to be off-topic. 

I try to install offline reader called mm (under Linux) but don't have much 
like due to missunderstanding somethings. 
How can I download QWK packets? What protocol should I use for this? (ansi?).
BBS software keeps saying the following:

Would you like to receive this packet?
