I understand that this precludes models etc, but should I infer that it
also excludes spacecraft eg. Mir? (I assume it does) I've got no
interest in changing anything, but would appreciate clarification. The
rules are so well worded that I might adopt them for my own echo!!!
BTW, A friend is training pupils for their PPL en route to training for
his CPL. He finds that newbies who have familiarised themselves with M$
FS4 (in those days) were *far* quicker at coping with the real thing.
Had I done so first, I suspect it would have helped me too. I don't
think I'll ever forgive the instructor who played chicken with me,
refusing to take back the controls and forcing me to make the landing.
OTOH, if I were gay, I'd probably have kissed him.  I can't visualise
anyone else getting me to land in less than 200 hours!
