Yes. But I hope you are familiar with the fact that the emotive "limbic"
level (or roughly 'structional' layer) of our brains has a lot do to do with
what it is that we come to think (and to understand). I do because this
role, a both filtering and biasing role (not exclusively a limbic system
function BTW), is very important and relevant not as much to attempts to
unifyingly understand or define Consiousness (as a general phenomenon) but
to understand what specific psychobehavioral "contents", and
"intensities"
(how fanatically, or relaxedly such contents are being "paid
actention" to),
of Consciousness are being socially and culturally created.
