Both the Memtest versions are standalone binaries.  The bootable diskette
or CD should run on almost any hardware.

When you say pure eCS machine, what you are really saying is a PC with
pretty much standard hardware.  There's not much that will not run on it
unless it is too old and slow for the current MS offerings.
