No, that's Bovine Scat. The above ONLY applies to LIbEralS. Conservatives 
are held to the more proper standard. All one has to do is look at what 
happened to Clarence Thomas, Bob Packwood, and to a lesser degree, Newt 
Gingrich. 
Granted, this is a hypocritical standard, but coming from LIbEralS, it's no 
surprise. The standard LIbEral dogma of "the ends justify the means", and 
the belief that THEY and they ALONE, are the true enlightened people who 
care for others, justifies this in their minds. 
The media has conveniently sidestepped the real issue in this entire 
investigation, regardless of whether or not it pertains to Whitewater, 
Travelgate, Filegate, Fornigate,Cattlegate,  fill in the blank gate, ad 
nauseum. 
The ISSUE, and the ONLY issue, is that William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, 
AND Hillary Rodham Clinton, appear to have abused El Presidente's official 
power and used it for their personal gain. Whether it was to benefit from a 
land deal gone sour; to a "killing" in the cattle futures market; or to 
fire the White House travel office staff and give that function to their 
friends; or obtaining the classified FBI files on Republicans who no longer 
worked in the White House to review, for whatever purpose one can only 
guess at; using either the Arakansas State Troopers or Secret Service 
Agents to procure women for El Presidente; or using his office to seduce 
women for sexual encounters. 
The common thread that runs between all these episodes and others is the 
misuse of official power for personal advantage or gain. 
Let me offer up a theory. Susan McDougal is sitting in Federal Prison on 
contempt charges because she staunchly refuses to cooperate with Ken 
Starr's investigation and testify before the Grand Jury. This is NOT, as 
she and her mouthpiece of a lawyer are putting out for public consumption, 
a refusal to "give Ken Starr what he wants". Or to lie about El 
Presidente's role in Whitewater, etc. which is the allegation Ms. McDougal 
and her "esquire" are claiming. It is her refusal to testify at all, after 
having been granted use immunity and still trying to assert her Fifth 
Ammendment rights against self incrimination. 
She has gone on national television several times and offered up interviews 
claiming that "El Presidente" has done nothing wrong. If that is the case, 
ask yourself this little question. WHY is it she refuses to testify to that 
fact in front of the Grand Jury? The reason? Because Ken Starr's folks are 
going to ask her not only about El Presidente, but about "La Primera Mujer" 
("First Lady" for all you non Spanish speakers out there) as well. And she 
has NEVER said that Hillary didn't do anything wrong. It's what she HASN'T 
said that's important and not what she HAS said. 
When you stop and think about all that has happened, WHO is it that always 
seems to be in the middle of all these scandals? Hillary, that's who. When 
Maggie Williams, formerly of the Children's Defense Fund, an organization 
Frau Klinton also belonged to, entered Vince Foster's office and removed 
papers shortly after he was found shot, Ms. Williams was working for 
Hillary and NOT El Presidente. Bernard Nussbaum was a former cohort of 
Hillary from the good 'ole Watergate days. Foster was a partner in 
Hillary's law firm, the Rose Law Firm. Web Hubbel, convicted felon, ALSO 
was from the Rose Law Firm. Hillary was in charge of the secret health care 
task force even though she held no elected office. 
Rumor had been circulating in the Federal Law Enforcement community that 
there was an impending indictment of Frau Klinton, along with one for Ms. 
Williams, Mr. Nussbaum and others close to La Primera Mujer for lying to 
Congress and Obstruction of Justice. 
And La Primera Mujer does NOT enjoy Executive Privilege, much as though she 
would like to. She has been rather adept at damage control when she is 
directly involved. The only time she's NOT involved in the various scandals 
is when it deals with El Presidente's overactive libido. Nor is she immune 
from indictment and criminal prosecution. However, imagine what kind of 
political firestorm this would set off. If you think Starr is being 
pilloried in the press now for what he's doing, just think of what it'll 
sound like when this hits the fan. After all, Hillary is both the darling 
of the LIbEral set, the feminist set, AND she's being or will be cast, as 
the victim to El Presidente's wanderlust. 
The far from impartial Fourth Estate will have a field day, claiming that 
both El Presidente AND La Primera Mujer were the targets of a "vastly well 
financed ultra right wing conspiracy". And alot of folks will buy off on 
that. After all, if the news says "it's so", then it must be so. And that 
will result in an outpouring of sympathy for El Presidente and La Primera 
Mujer. 
The old saying: "Why let the truth get in the way of a good story" is 
applicable here.
