Sounds like the problem's with FD. Probably FD sees two modems and is trying 
to grab BOTH at the same time. Obviously, you need to ask in FDECHO (Front 
Door support) how to reconfigure FD so it'll ONLY see the one modem you want 
it to see. Either that, or just get used to shutting down FD, starting up 
your terminal program and then restarting FD. :)
