hahahaha, forgive me for laughing but it was as simple as

  unzip \dwnlds\emx09d.zip \temp
  unzip \temp\*.zip

or something equally simplistic... it took longer for me to edit my
config.sys file and reboot than it did the actual unzipping

i have already compiled and ran the "hello world" example and the
sieve... i'm sure i even found a hardcoded make.cmd file that compiled all
the examples... i'm sure i ran a few of them but at 0430, it's hard to tell
if its real or just a dream OB-)

actually, i as can tell, emx and gcc are already made... i was attempting
to make dmake to test that... i have been back thru it more and i think i
need header files from some toolkit??

oh yes... like i say above, i've actually compiled some few things with it
but until i can get dmake or bake or something that works to make with, i'm
kinda lost... i remember reading about bake when it came out... if it'll
work with "normal" make files, maybe i'll try to bake everything
instead of making them... i like cooking better than i do laboring anyway,
hahaha...
