It wasn't a particularly nice day on the Street. Google dragged the
tech sector higher, and with it the OTC. Catepillar dragged the DJIA
lower, and Pfizer said it's not going to provide "guidance" on it's
performance any more. Prices were up modestly, gave it all back, and
gained back some to finish very modestly higher. If that sounds a bit
lackluster and grudging, it was--volume was only +8% above average.

Still, that was 2446Ms, as compared to just over 1900Ms on the best day
of all last year. The short-term 20-day average of prices is beginning
to flatten, just above the broad, flat peak of the 200-day. Prices are
dithering. We've been below 1200 for most of the month so far, but they
don't seem to want to go below, say, 1175. Does that make it a level of
"Support"? It's too soon to say. Don't go grasping at straws.

Price Vola- Momen- Volume Oscil- Summ.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: SELL Date: 10/04/05 S&P: 1214
