I am in need of a QuickBASIC routine to convert ESN numbers from base 10 to
base 16 and back.  This is not a stright 10 to 16 conversion, there is a
procedure for doing it.  I can do it from base 16 to base 10 with the
calculator in windows but I can't convert it back.  I really want to be able 
to
convert numbers back and forth at will.
If you have or know where I can get the formula, I would sure appreciate it

you would let me know either here or via Netmail.  I would also be willing to
FREQ a file if necessary or I can FTP it if it's on the Net.  I really need 
the
source or enough information to write the source myself since I want to
include it in a database conversion routine.
I'm trying to add both versions of my customers ESN to my customer database

I can search for either number.  I have one version or the other depending on
what the salesmen wrote on their contract.
