subject: dani drivers question.

Everyone,

I need some advice on what switches I might add to help me around my
problem using DANI's drivers.

I have an all scsi system. (SCSI HDs, CDROM, and CDRW). (been running
this way for almost 10 years)

I've used RSJ for a while on the SCSI CD drive. I rarely have a problem.

I've added an IDE based DVD-writer. Plenty of folks suggests this is no
problem.

I added the DVD (setup as master, primary) and the DANI drivers.=20=20

I get the system to boot up exactly as expected. I got the RSJ software
to recognize both the CDRW and DVDRW drives. Though the 5.53 version of
doesn't make this super easy.

However it seems that after several (2 to 4?) hours, the system will lock
up. Only a pwr reset will get my system back.

Backing out DANI drivers, eliminated the lock up problems.=20=20

My initial setup of DANI drivers do not use any switches.

I'm thinking that perhaps with the right switches, my system lock up
problem will go away.

I would like to get folks to help me decide what switches I might add to
the drivers so that I might eliminate the lock up problems.

Feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks
