Not necessarily. It's the videogame scene I'm into for music, so I could
record music to HD as WAVE files, then copy them to Zip disk for
distribution, and I would expect the software companies to have a PC at their
end. Though I suppose a Zip drive could be absent, yeah.
To be honest, I've decided not to go for this option anyway, as I discovered
my Amiga is only capable of of handling 8-bit samples. I really need 16-bit
for CD-quality. So I'm jettisoning this option.
The only thing I fear is this whole DVD business. I don't want to purchase a
CD-writer, only to discover that it is obselete in two years.
