That would be true on any revolver that was manufactured prior to the
transfer bar. Old Ruger Single-Actions come immediately to mind. The
newer ones have the transfer bar and should not fire unless the the
trigger is pulled.

You should be able to fire *any* weapon if you get it warm (read hot)
enough.
