Eberhard does not extend gcc himself, he just ports to OS/2. He has found
(and sometimes fixed) a lot of bugs in the compiler, but emx+gcc has the
same abilities as the respective gcc. emx 0.9d contains gcc 2.8.1.

There are ports of egcs and pgcc to OS/2, which are a bit more recent, but
"experimental".
