Don't tell them you are trying to use a modem, tell them you are trying to
use a fax machine. I might work, but then again, they might try to get you
to send a fax to their FOLDS fax test number. If they do, tell them that
you only get the fax machine on weekends/Tuesdays/Full Moons, and don't
have it now, and could they just do a THOROUGH check of the line.
