BG> But not as good as the two cameras, and their slo-mo replays, BG> which clearly showed that Harragon placed the ball on the WRONG BG> side of the try line. No matter though, it made no difference BG> to the eventual outcome. ;-) Oh! I missed that. I was just watching to see that he actually grounded it - which he did. It annoys me that they all cheat; pretending that they had their hand under the ball, and sliding it back across the line, or swearing that they got it down when they didn't. I've never seen anyone write about this bad-sportsmanship. They concentrate on biffo and stiff-arm tackles, and no one says that cheating is virtually expected! PE> FWIW, I thought the standard of the game wasn't as good as it PE> used to be, although I appreciate the lack of foul play. BG> Dunno, I thought it was much faster, with more ball-handling BG> under the new 10m rule (they were all totally fucked BG> physically, long before full time though). Anyway, I like to BG> see the odd punchup in a match like that (isn't that why most BG> people watch it anyway?). I agree. I thought the new 10m rule made a much better game of it, and I didn't notice the lack of dirty play until it was over. Then I was surprised that it had been such a good hard game without it. BG> Wally is a wanker, and always has been. ;-) Couldn't disagree with that, but he used to be great, too.
