PE>> It's quite often patchy. 0.5 meg one day, 2 meg the next.

RY> Any reason why this is happening ?

Probably links going down. Links go down all the time. There's a
particularly risky thing I'm doing at the moment too - using COM.SYS.
Please don't drop carrier on me, as it shuts down the BBS at the moment.

BTW Bob, I presume you dropped carrier because your mother picked up the
phone. How can the few minutes that you're online each day be the time when
she decides to make a call? Give her some email to read for crying out
loud.

BTW, the reason I'm using COM.SYS is so that I can write my MSDOS
interrupt-driven comms routines. SIO.SYS seems to have a bug in this
regard.

PE>> I still haven't worked out how you can read twice as much mail as
 PE>> Rod Speed. BFN.

 RY> Speed reading ?? :-)

I've never noticed you writing any messages though. Just what are you
plotting over there (wherever you are)? BFN.

Paul
