I found several books at the local Bookstar related to Hot Wheels and valuing 
a collection.  The one I have is rather old, but it was cheap and gave me a 
reference point.
There are also Usenet groups on the Internet related to scale cars (Matchbox, 
Hot Wheels, etc), but I didn't enjoy them much... too much chatter, not 
enough info.
If you're interested in selling/trading, I'd like a shot.  I have a large and 
growing computer collection for trade... especially for Hot Wheels (I got all 
mine and my brothers when Mom cleaned out the house!).  Especially interested 
in older models and Ford or Mustang vehicles.
