Oh indeed. Not even the tiger could withstand the rockets aircraft could carry.
However the KV1 & T34 were a very nasty shock for the Germans. When
they only had panzer III & IV, the russian tanks were clearly better.
When you factor in the ease & thus numbers of manufacture it was a no
brainer
& then once the Soviets upgunned to the T34-85 & the SU-100, JS-1 etc it
was game over.
