There are no perfect solutions, but we know for sure that 60 years of the
rest of the world imposing dictators of their choosing and sucking the oil
out of the region didn't work very well. You think, obviously, that we
should have continued with that status quo. I, and my elected officials,
think not.
If you want things to go back to the way they were, you're living a
pipe-dream, but you can try to bring that back just the same -- just
emulate Soros style model and send lots of money to people like Lamont,
McKinney, Reid, Kennedy, Kerry et al. and try to get them back in power
(bitching about who we elected in the interim is nothing more than so much
bullshit) and you'll get exactly what you seem to want
