Correct the proceeding error and restart the system." That message may be strange, but for me it is very common. It is not related to AMD. OS/2 in general does not like to install on a "used" HDD. And install LVM can't stand to be in the same machine; it will insist that the drive is corrupted. I do have a protocol that seems to be working. Take an old, small HDD. Use DFSEE to erase it; let erase run for ten seconds and hit escape. Create whatever partition you want it to run on and install on that. Then copy that partition to whatever HDD is in your working machine. It will need to be copied to the same letter on the working drive. How you partition will depend on how many OSs you want. I have a test machine with three DOS, W98SE, W2K, W4, eCS 1.2 and eCS 2.0. With eCS just install is as the only primary but give it whatever drive letter you want it to have on the working HDD. It copies from that primary to an extended on the working HDD just fine. I have left out a lot of detail that depends on your desired HDD layout. But this general procedure las got me past a lot of problems I used to have. Ray ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Check out the new improvements in Yahoo!
