| subject: | making dmake with emx 0.9d |
i'm commenting on my last to you with a change in the subject line...
ml>>>i was attempting to make dmake to test that... i have been
ml>>>back thru it more and i think i need header files from some
ml>>>toolkit??
DN>> EMX contains its own version of the OS/2 header files. I don't
DN>> know what else DMAKE might need to compile.
ml> hummm... i'll try to recompile again and see if i can capture
ml> the outputs... i'm thinking that i might have to do something
ml> like (from memory) dmake &2>>&1>comp.txt or whatever it is
ml> that i do to grab STDERR as well as STDOUT... at least i
ml> _think_ that's what i need to do... just doing a simple
ml> redirect, dmake > comp.txt didn't give me any error messages
ml> like i was wanting...
i'm manually entering each of the commands in \DMAKE\EMX\MAKE.CMD and
here's what i get for the first...
===== snip =====
H:\dmake >gcc -c -I. -Iemx -DOS2 -U__GNUC__ -Zmtd -O infer.c
In file included from extern.h:66,
from infer.c:40:
emx\public.h:161: conflicting types for `_chdir'
H:\EMX\INCLUDE\stdlib.h:194: previous declaration of `_chdir'
===== snip =====
in looking at \DMAKE\EMX\PUBLIC.H, i see this...
int _chdir ANSI((char *));
in looking at \EMX\INCLUDE\STDLIB.H, i see this...
int _chdir (__const__ char *);
they are definitely not the same and the message doesn't really mean
anything to me other than there is an error...
