The T34 & massive losses.

If you're going to fight with tanks then have the best & the most. If
you can't have the best & the most then have the 2nd best & the
most.

The T34 was the best tank of WW2 & they made enormous quantities of them.

That & the Red Airforce was able to achieve tactical superiority over
the battlefield starting with Stalingrad.
