Different laptop manufacturers use different caddies. Depending on the
age of the hard drive and the laptop, the drives themselves are often
identical in form factor and connections. We have a bunch of laptops at
work and often need to swap drives due to drive failures or mission
changes for the laptops, and as long as you are careful with the screws
for the caddy, and the caddy itself, it's generally not a difficult process.
