The executibles were huge.  They were loading from a LAN drive so the
user could launch a program and then go to lunch while the app. loaded.

The executibles were tokenized running in an interpreter.  ANYTHING
that could be done to speed up the process was done.  As C and C++
continiue to merge, I honestly hope that the #define will go the way of
the dinosaur.
