Probably. :)  This whole thing reminds me of the Quadraphonic confusion
of the '70's.

The only thing I'd "remote" would be occasional headphone listening for
TV programming, either IR (infra red) or FM with a portable headphone
radio.  That cord gets in the way... :-)
Anyone compared the IR to FM systems?
