Well, I think any legislative body, local state or national is
the one place where secret balloting should not be permitted.  We
vote to send those persons to the various legislative bodies and
we have the right to know how they voted on any issue.  After
all, their voting record is all we have to go on to decide
whether we want to re-elect them or not.
I agree with you that in the N.F.B., even if I lost an issue I
could live with it better if I lost it to the body as a whole
rather than to a delegate roll call of states although I don't
foresee any changes in our voting procedure.
