Hello All!
I spoke to a Microcom Modem Engineer at Networld+Interop in Atlanta last 
week. He told me that the K56-protocol update ROM should be ready by now... 
they are already shipping some of their products with it I noticed on their 
website.
BTW, they are calling their implementation of the K56 protocol MNP56. :) 
Anyway, with any luck, I and who knows how many other Microcom users will 
FINALLY be able to upgrade to 56k! :)
