First off, I am talking about what I /see/ in the market locally in regard to what users want and expect. While this is subjective it is also not just my opinion. Secondly, I am making a statement of fact which is documented widely due to the anti-trust suit against Microsoft several years back. So, that is a fact, not opinion. Finally, I have done a LOT of Microsoft OS installs and have run into problems with most of them that required more than neophyte knowledge to resolve. I did get them all resolved because I am definitely not a neophyte. Again, that is subjective fact, not opinion. > > The gargantuan snowball it has become will finally stop rolling in the > > plains below and then melt. But that takes time. Microsof will be piratised here forever. :) I suppose that is true if you say so and if you live in a country that has no laws respecting copyright from other countries like the USA. But the little penguins are "free". No need to ever break any law of any country to use the penguin. ;-) While I consider myself a US patriot and try to use US products whenever possible (except for Microsoft of course) I would think people in countries other than the USA would not want to keep relying on flaky operating system software from a US company. I guess I am wrong in that thought.
