Hi Franklin,
I bought my SODIMM locally here, on the AU Gold Coast from
cheapmemory.com.au [who will ship anywhere!]. They won't sell you memory
that is incompatible with your system - just advise them of the details
of your thinkpad. I was advised that I could *only* use the low-density
modules in my Sony VAIO PCG-F190. they also have 256MB low-density
SODIMMS, I will be trying those out later, after I completely finish
configuring the system, which currently has original W98 [from small
HDD] plus eCS 1.1 and 2 * eCS 1.2, W2K Pro next to go on, to see whether
I can exceed the nominal 192MB maximum that was quoted in 1999!
