Daniel, my father-in-law has been going through this on his. It is
legal to convert the magazine on your own gun still. And you can still
have a bayonet, and mount. Just forget about selling it that way
though. At least in Maryland that is. I don't know about your states
special hysterical gun laws. They may differ.
