Your incorrect, when you pay the cancellation fee that is paying for the
phone, but you don't pay for your phone if you stick with your contract,
you are paying for your service.  Long before they had free phones they
still had to pay a contract that was much higher, now that they are
free the contracts are lower?  What gives.

Well you can get prepaid airtime where you don't pay a montly service, but
then your stuck paying $1.25 a minute, and that is not even worth it.  It's
better to pay a small montly service fee and have alot lower per minute
rates.
