Hello Dave!

Yep--wanted the lowest starting load that wouldn't result in a bullet stuck
in the barrel.

Yep--wanted to work up from the bare minimum.

Haven't loaded anything light enough to notice this--any published loads I
should stay away from?

Thought it was due to the hexagonal rifling--accuracy with lead is
disappointing, and cleanup is time consuming. My barrel leaded up pretty
badly towards the maximum load with 180gr bullets. Found that jacketed
bullets shoot much better.

Have recently heard of this, though I haven't run into any problems yet--but,
then again, I haven't went past the recommended maximums. One suggestion
from a Glock FAQ was to mic each and every case as you slowly approach the
maximum load. When the case starts bulging nead the head, it's time to back
off.
. . . good stuff snipped for brevity--caveats understood. . .

Never loaded anything that light--once again, any particular loads I should
avoid? Have been surprised with the reliability of my Glock--only
malfunctions I've had were caused by slightly (several hundredths of an inch)
overlength loads, which failed to fully chamber. Gave these to my brother,
whose Glock has several thousand more rounds through it than mine, which
digested them with no complaints.
Later,
Brian.
