Seems I should have read the docs when I upgraded to 1.11 some time back. 
Indeed it does support MAREA of Max 3.xx. I run it by date now though. I did 
used to use max messages, but changed to date because some echoes would still 
have messages months old in them. I do still have my netmail area set for 
messages though. Comt ot think of it, I also run another util that renumbers 
them.........Scanbldp, but that's for .msg format. There's also MR.EXE, but 
it's for .msg format also. Good luck.
