DH> The bottom line is that Bush stopped too soon! We should have
->  overrun
-> as much of Iraq as possible, and then stayed there for a while! Now we
-> are in a no win situation. If we start a war, a lot of good men and
-> women will loose their lives, for a questionable objective. If we
-> don't, then we might as well pack up and go home. My thought at the
-> moment? Before we decide whether or not to accept the UN deal, we
-> should first decide if we are willing to do whatever is neccesary to
-> eliminate any threat posed by Iraq. If we are not, then our best best
-> is to accept the UN deal, and go home. If we are willing to do whatever
-> is neccesary, then we need to do it, and the rest of the world be
->  d*mned!
Yes, we should have knocked his teeth out when we took his bike and his
lunch money, but we can't go back now. One question that I have is: Are
OUR interests at stake here? Every time some guy with a sheet on his
head says his neighbor isn't playing fair, WE end up driving all over
hell and half of Georgia to make it right. Not always the best idea,
even though the intentions are good. They've grown to depend on us. They
buy our weapons and we buy their oil. They blast each other with weapons
they bought from us and we run to protect the oil. Did we mot expect
them to actually USE those weapons?
As far as being a world leader, yes, we should make a decision and stick
with it no matter what the other guys say. I just fear the dominoes may
fall after the next major conflict in the middle-east. Those religious
crazies give me the heebie-jeebies!
