Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyway, as an owner of a `68 AMX 390 car, and
being a diehard from the early days, I couldn't ignore commenting.
Heres some AMC trivia for you. In `60s, until `68, AMC was using a
version of Fords Cruise-O-Matic in their luxury and performance models.
Its an ok trany but nothing great for hot-rodding. In `69 they switched
over to the Chrysler 727. If only they had switched in `68.
