 You have a very particular date presentation. Probably, majority
 can live with that until the next version or...

 YOU HAVE A LOT OF DATE SENSITIVE STUFF ON YOUR BBS, EXPIRY DATE AND SO ON.
 MADE BACK UP, BEFORE YOU PLAY YEAR 2000.
 Just turn your computer to Year 2001 and play BBS for a while.
 With the DOS version, the header are currupt, cause the date
 are "funny". 96,97,98,99,100,101,102.
